A Birthday Portrait

Did this for my daughters boyfriend for his birthday. I was happy with the end result, it took around 15 hours and I did it with staedler mars 2mm leads, 4h, 2h, 2b and 4b and some high polymer pentel leads. Its actual size is 9 by 12.

Here is a graphite portrait I just finished of my 17 year old son Zach. I really enjoyed doing this one. It took around 16 hours and I used a variety of pencils, mechanical, and 2h, 2b, b, 4b and some 6b.

A Couple ACEOs

Here are a couple graphite aceo's I have drawn recently. These are actual size, 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches. Our kitten oliver and a canadian goose at a local park.

Twilights Edward

This is an image I drew a few months ago of Robert Pattinson, Edward from Twilight. I was drawn to this one because of the lighting in the original image. Done with graphite and charcoal.

Caitlin Portrait

Here is a portrait I drew for my niece for her 16th birthday, the hair was the biggest challenge but I really enjoyed drawing this one. The frame was added in photoshop.

First Post

I started this to have a place to post my artwork, sort of an artistic online journal. Hopefully there will be lots of new posts and artwork coming soon. I love working with graphite and charcoal and love to draw all types of subjects.
