Some New Aceo's I did



Decided to have some fun with the ebay aceo group this month and did a couple ACEO's for their Feb. Challenge "Critters in Love" Here are the two I submitted for the contest, it was fun and I plan to enter the contest again. They are for sale 2.99 each this week on ebay until Monday 2/7 evening if anyone is interested.

Tools of the Trade


Here is another colored pencil drawing I just finished. My first attempt at glass in any medium it was allot of fun. The original size is 9 by 12 with prismacolor pencils. I used my own reference photo and worked some from life as well.

Winning Hand




Just started working with colored pencils again and this was allot of fun to do. Tried to get the photo as close to the real image as possible but it looks better in real life. Done from my own reference photo.

Kristin


Finally another post to this, the next one won't take this long. I was unhappy with the other portrait of my daughter I did, so I took this photo and thought it would make a good graphite portrait. This one captures her personality and youth better than the other one did. You can see the other one below, and the eyes and features were just off in that one. She also wears her bangs different now than she did then.

Fruit and Reflections


Here is a new drawing I just finished, this is one of my first few attempts at a still life. I really enjoyed doing it so much I think I will do some more. Its 8 1/2 by 11 done with graphite ranging from 4h to 4b.
